The pledge, explained
The part that stays free forever
Core supervision is not a paid feature. Knowing which agent did what — named keys, signed actions, basic scopes — stays in the free product, always. Charging for accountability would be backwards.
What paid tiers will eventually cover
When billing arrives (only if the product earns it), it will be per human seat, and it will price the heavy governance and team-scale layers: advanced permission policies, team analytics and admin controls, higher API rate limits, and priority support.
Why "no credits for agent actions" matters
If agent actions burned credits, you'd hesitate to supervise closely — every check would cost you. On Cobbles an agent action costs the same as a human click: nothing.
